Triple Glazed Windows Bradford + Encapsulated Stained Glass
Here in the before pictures we can see that the customer had old single glazed wooden sash windows. The customer wanted all these replacing with modern Triple Glazed Windows while still retaining the look and character of the house. Warmshield restored & repaired all of the stained glass which was carefully cut out of the old windows, this was then encapsulated into new triple glazed glass units with warm edge spacer bars, low E Coated Glass with Argon gas between the panes. At Warmshield the stained glass is always encapsulated as the middle pane in a triple glazed unit so that it can remain untouched by the weather, fingerprints or any dirt, this enables the stained glass to look new for years to come.
The customer wanted all the windows making like for like in design and for most of the windows this is a very straight forward process, however shapes like the one that can be seen in the front bay window are a little more complicated, these shapes are cloned by taking templates using wooden boards, by taking various images of the original and by taking millimeter perfect measurements of the existing shape and window. Here at Warmshield when it comes to Windows, Doors and Conservatories no job is complicated.
All the Triple Glazed Windows for this client were manufactured to suit the Encapsulated Triple Glazed Units and all Triple Glazed Windows were manufactured identical in design in order to retain the same look.
